YLab Immersion Associate – First Nations

YLab offers consulting and co-design services to organisations who are looking for better ways to design systems and services with young people. To do this YLab employs over 80 young people across Australia with diverse lived and technical expertise to work on projects. YLab solves problems in employment, policy and decision making, health and wellbeing and First Nations issues, all by putting young people at the centre. The YLab Immersion Program (YIP) is a hybrid learning and employment program designed to equip young people with the resources, skills and connections to make systems-level impact in their careers.As a First Nations Immersion Associate for YLab you will have the opportunity to develop your confidence and skills across YLab’s First Nations and other projects in partnership with those across the YLab team.  Your role will include using co-design and consulting skills to bring young people’s perspectives to the client projects you deliver, helping develop YLab’s offering to clients and young people and engaging in learning and development within a cohort of peers.Who we’re looking for:We are looking for passionate, reflective, curious and unlike-minded young people who want to learn and develop their skills and make the world better by influencing systems affecting young people.
