Operations Coordinator

 Reports to: Director, People and OperationsDirect reports: N/AFTE: Full time (1.0)Location: Melbourne Salary range: $75,000- $84,999 excluding super (depending on experience)_________________________________________________________________About the roleFYA is creating a dynamic workplace and operational infrastructure  that enables our team to deliver on our purpose: backing young people with the trust, skills, resources and connections to make change. As the Operations Coordinator, you play a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day activities that enable smooth functioning of our organisation are delivered efficiently and effectively. The role requires exceptional organisational, time management and project tracking abilities, as well as strong communication skills.The Operations Coordinator's responsibilities include maintaining office facilities and equipment, arranging and coordinating IT infrastructure, arranging and assisting with scheduling, employee training, managing budgets, and liaising with stakeholders and service providers.To be successful as an Operations Coordinator, you should be able to resolve roadblocks efficiently and have excellent communication and organisational skills. You’ll be managed by the People and Operations Director and work closely  with the People and Culture Coordinator and other staff. COVID has challenged many of our old ways of working, and this is a unique and transformational moment to join FYA and strengthen our operational capacity.Who we’re looking forYou have at least 3 years experience in a similar role.
